Rhapsody of Fire at Teatro Caupolicán
Today I
want to talk you about the best concert I have been to: Rhapsody of Fire. The concert was on November
29 of 2010, in the Teatro Caupolicán, here in Santiago. Rhapsody of Fire is a
very popular Italian band of power metal and of the so called “epic metal”
because of its sound. They are maybe the most melodic band I listen, and the
only related to the power metal than I like – because I listen to extreme
metal, excepting for this band.
The concert
was as epic as the band. The illumination
was perfect, and the sound of the location was fine. The band played just as
only they know. The atmosphere of the
event was so happy and the public chanted all the song from the beginning to
the end. I felt like I was brother with all the other persons who attended to
the concert. But I enjoyed this concert not only because the incredibly
atmosphere, but also because the repertory of the songs, and because the band
was in one of its best moments.
As
anecdote, I remember the intro of The
Village of Dwarves, when the bagpipe sounded, all the public began to dance
like warriors drinking beer.
